I’ve HEARD of this , but never got a chance to read it! King is not my favorite Batman writer (Although he did have a FEW good issues! But I also blame editorial for a lot of his run .), but this looks decent .

Honestly, all references in the book just made it even more hilarious when Sal tells it. I was laughing start to finish. It's like the book was made for the couch!

To me, this book with Mitch Gerald’s art reminds me more of Morrison/mckean’s Batman Arkham asylum more so than Moore/bollands killing Joke, but still, a solid book.

In all the stories Sal tells of his younger self going to comic stores, every employee sounds like Comic Book Guy from Simpsons...totally cynical and rude lol

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen would be a fun book and I'm sure Sal and the group would certainly have some options about the book and the movie that would be hilarious

My theory on the difference between the freeze gun and the cold gun was that the freeze gun projects a blast of ice or like sub-zero liquid, and the cold gun actually stops molecules from vibrating or moving which results in freezing. I think this works better for Snart, because Mr freezers technology is baised on maintaining his body really cold temperatures, and just stopping his molecules from moving and instant freezing would probably kill him

Aquaman is the most popular DC character by cinematic metrics and is a major part of this story -- get him in that poster and write up. Hawkgirl sucks and the Flash is massively overrated.

Love this episode and this book. I will say the moment about them speaking in weird fragments hits home for me because I do this all the time when doing something physical while talking to someone. 😂
